When choosing a color scheme for your room it’s often wise to go with a shade that you like in other circumstances, such as one you choose often for clothing or accessories such as your area rug runner. However, there are some situations where particular colors are not advised. For example, if your room is north facing you may find that a pure yellow will look drab rather than bright. It’s hard to transport popular colors used in one climate, for example, to another dissimilar one.
