Talk about an easy recipe!  And fragrant and delicious… this crockpot apple butter has it all.  With just five ingredients, you can have little jars of apple butter in your refrigerator by nightfall.  We start our crockpot going early in the morning, so that we have a finished batch ready to spoon over ice cream after dinner.  Then we put the rest in jars in the refrigerator to spread on toasted English muffins in the morning.  I must say, one batch doesn’t last very long in our house, between desserts and breakfast.
